The interesting aspect of Japanese culture which I chose is “Pokemon.” It’s one of the most famous Japanese animations. Now, it’s become popular in the world. It has been merchandised into anime, comic books, trading cards, toys, books, and other media. The name of Pokemon is romanized contraction of the Japanese brand, as such contractions are very common in Japan. Pokemon USA Inc., a subsidiary of Japan’s Pokemon Co., now oversees all Pokemon licensing outside of Asia.
Pokemon also has cultural influence, for example, two different Pikachu balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Palade, a Pokemon-styled Boeing 747-400. The species of Pokemon is more increasing. The increase of the species makes children all of the world more interested in Pokemon, even if adults.
